This is the start of a series of calligraphy collages I'm working on utilizing my scanner and Photoshop to add layers, enhance colors, copy layers and resize them; and basically have fun making a collage digitally. Here is the original image which was done with acrylics on tyvek and then scanned into Photoshop.

This is the same collage after I added layers and turned things around and added elements from other sheets of calligraphy...

It's getting late and I could stay up for hours playing with this sort of thing, but I have to work tomorrow. This is a departure from my typical collages made with two and three dimensional paper and objects, and it's been a lot of fun to play in Photoshop again. The possibilities are absolutely endless!
